Last weekend, my boyfriend & I were watching Pixar Short Films (my fav) and I was thinking about making some sort of project with my favorite short…Birds on a Wire!

And then I saw this adorable pillow found on etsy.com/shop/sukanart by sukan & it got me thinking…

SO! This beautiful pillow inspired me ot make this:

It’s not completely done. I just hot glued all the felt onto the background & I still need to finish the pillow but I thought it turned out pretty good! =)

Well, it’s the day before Easter & most families are dying their eggs getting ready fot the arrival of the Easter Bunny. Mom and I are the typical procrastinators and forgot about it until this afternoon. We didn’t have an egg dying kit so we improvised with food coloring - super easy! All you need is water, white vinegar and food dye!

Combine in container for each color:
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon white vinegar
and about 20 drops of liquid food dye
Of course normal food dye comes in your basic primary colors (red, blue, yellow & green). If you want to make other colors (purple, orange, etc.), mix about 10 drops of one color and 10 drops of another color. For those of you who don’t remember from elementary school: Red+Blue=Purple and Red+Yellow=Orange.
The longer you keep the eggs submerged in the dyed liquid, the more vibrant your eggs will turn out!

Enjoy & Happy Easter!!
